Holding Criminals Accountable and Strengthening Public Safety
Californians—regardless of party—are tired of feeling unsafe in their own neighborhoods. As a local leader, I have worked closely with law enforcement to increase patrols in high-crime areas, supported our police department with critical funding for equipment and training, and stood against policies that handcuffed officers from doing their jobs. As your Assembly member, I will advocate for legislation that restores accountability in our justice system, including tougher penalties for violent repeat offenders, fentanyl traffickers, and organized retail theft. I will fight to repeal laws that have emboldened criminals while undermining the safety of law-abiding citizens. Safe communities are not a partisan issue—they’re a human one.
Lowering the Cost of Living for Working Families
As a City Councilwoman, I’ve consistently opposed fee increases that burden our working families and small businesses. My husband and I are small business owners ourselves, and we understand firsthand the frustration of navigating high costs, burdensome regulations, and economic uncertainty. I’ve supported local policies that help create jobs, support entrepreneurs, and protect the economic vitality of our community. In Sacramento, I’ll bring that same perspective—fighting for practical solutions that reduce the cost of living and help California’s working families thrive.

Effectively Addressing California’s Homeless Crisis
During my time as Mayor, I led proactive efforts to address homelessness with compassion and accountability. We cleared dangerous encampments that threatened public health and safety while partnering with nonprofits, churches, and local agencies to help individuals transition off the streets and into services. We’ve supported programs that focus on job training, addiction recovery, and transitional housing—not just throwing money at the problem with no results. In the Assembly, I’ll push for statewide reforms that focus on results: increased mental health beds, coordinated regional care networks, and conservatorship laws that ensure those who need help the most don’t fall through the cracks.
Protecting Parental Rights and Expanding Educational Choice
As a mother and local leader, I’ve always believed that parents—not politicians or bureaucrats—know what’s best for their children. I have been a strong advocate for educational options in our community, including support for charter schools that have provided innovative and high-performing alternatives to traditional public schools. In Sacramento, I will work to ensure that all parents, regardless of zip code, have access to schools that meet their children’s unique needs. I will fight to protect curriculum transparency, support parental input in school governance, and ensure that our classrooms focus on academic achievement—not political agendas.
